I went to the Partnership for a Drug-Free Community and painted a bookshelf. I’m going to go back tomorrow to finish putting it up. Mrs. Reeves said they’re trying to figure out a good way to use their courtyard space, and one of the ideas was to convert it into a place to meditate on God. I got a big metal cross to put on the wall, and I’m planning to surprise them with it tomorrow! I’m also planning on getting advice from a friend, who is a skilled carpenter, to build them a bench in the near future. Mrs. Reeves and Mrs. Light are such wonderful people! I hope to give back the joy that they bring to other people in need.
